{"id":38410,"date":"2025-01-25T10:01:20","date_gmt":"2025-01-25T06:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iolr.org\/?p=38410"},"modified":"2025-01-25T13:03:44","modified_gmt":"2025-01-25T09:03:44","slug":"9-kg-of-drugs-seized-from-circulation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iolr.org\/?p=38410&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"9 kg of drugs seized from circulation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">As a result of measures taken by the Astara District Police Department to combat drug trafficking, previously convicted 38-year-old Amid Bashirli and 44-year-old Nurlan Abbasov were detained, <a href=\"https:\/\/oxu.az\/ru\/kriminal\/v-astarinskom-rajone-iz-oborota-izyato-9-kg-narkotikov\">Oxu.Az<\/a> reports, citing information distributed by the Lankaran regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">9 kg of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances were found and seized from the detainees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It turned out that they had smuggled the drugs from an Iranian citizen, whose identity is being established by the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">During other activities, two more suspects in drug trafficking were detained &#8212; previously convicted Jamal Rzayev and Gunay Jafarova.
