The verdict was announced in the Ganja Court of Grave Crimes chaired by Judge Dadash Imanov. Fuad Muradov was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in prison. He was detained in October 2023. By the decision of the Narimanov District Court, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen for him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">He and other defendants were charged under Articles 182.2.1, 182.2.2 and 182.2.4 (extortion committed repeatedly by a group of persons by prior conspiracy with the aim of seizing property in a significant amount) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Seven people were recognized as victims in the criminal case.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The trial of Fuad Muradov, Ramil Pashanov and Gulnar Hajiyeva, accused of extortion, continued, oxu.az reports.
