As a result of another special operation conducted by the Main Department for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Sabunchu and Nizami districts of Baku, previously convicted 40-year-old Alim Khalilov and 33-year-old Afgan Dunyamaliyev were detained. During a search of their homes and cars, 72 kg of marijuana, opium and methamphetamine were found and seized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In their testimony, the detainees reported that they purchased the drugs for delivery to certain addresses through an Iranian citizen, whose identity has not been established by the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A criminal case has been opened on the fact, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest has been chosen for the detainees by a court decision.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>72 kg of drugs have been seized from circulation in Baku, APA reports citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
