As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/oxu.az\/ru\/kriminal\/obyavlen-prigovor-perevozivshemu-tramadol-iz-irana-v-azerbajdzhan-grazhdaninu-turcii\">Oxu.Az<\/a>, the sentence was announced at a hearing chaired by Judge Faig Heydarov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The court sentenced S. Alagoz to 8 years in prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">According to the indictment, the truck driver Serkan Alagoz was transporting cargo in his own truck. While transporting cargo from Turkey to Iran, Alagoz agreed to deliver a large consignment of tramadol from Iran to Azerbaijan for a monetary reward of 250 thousand liras (approximately 11 thousand manats &#8212; ed.).
