As <a href=\"https:\/\/report.az\/ru\/proisshestviya\/v-azerbajdzhane-za-polgoda-zaregistrirovano-bolee-17-tys-prestuplenij\/\">Report<\/a> informs, this was discussed at a board meeting at the Ministry of Internal Affairs dedicated to the results of the first half of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It is reported that 94.4% of the total number of crimes were investigated in a procedural manner by the internal affairs bodies and the prosecutor&#8217;s office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Compared to the same period last year, the number of serious and especially serious crimes has significantly decreased &#8212; by 18.9%, crimes involving the use of firearms &#8212; by 2 times, recidivism &#8212; by 19.8%, group crimes &#8212; by 18.8%, domestic conflict-related crimes &#8212; by 5.5%, intentional murders &#8212; by 39.1%, as well as thefts and frauds &#8212; by 6.2% and 7.3%, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The crime detection rate was 92.8%, including 232 crimes from previous years.
