The criminals took possession of the personal data of the country&#8217;s citizens and tried to organize their sale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/oxu.az\/ru\/kriminal\/hakery-iz-azerbajdzhana-pohitili-dannye-450-000-grazhdan-podrobnosti-gromkogo-kiberprestupleniya\">Oxu.Az<\/a>, the suspects were detained as a result of a special operation carried out by the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The defendants in the case are 21-year-old Javid Dunyamaliyev and 18-year-old Jalil Jalilov. They were charged under Articles 271.3 (illegal access to a computer system committed in relation to a computer system of an infrastructure facility of public importance or any part thereof), 272.3 (illegal seizure of computer information committed in relation to a computer system of an infrastructure facility of public importance or any part thereof) and 273-1.4.2 (circulation of funds produced for the commission of cybercrimes committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, an organized group or a criminal community) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">By the court&#8217;s decision, Javid Dunyamaliev was sentenced to 5 years in prison, and Jalil Jalilov &#8212; to 4 years and 6 months in prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">During the investigation, Javid was in custody, and a preventive measure in the form of police supervision was chosen for Jalil. The court decided to take Jalil into custody.
