According to <a href=\"https:\/\/oxu.az\/ru\/kriminal\/vynesen-prigovor-byvshemu-chinovniku-stavshemu-prichinoj-strogogo-vygovora-fuadu-nagievu\">oxu.az<\/a>, the court sentenced him to one year and six months of restricted freedom for abuse of office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">He was accused of distributing a document contained in a closed electronic document flow between government agencies while serving as chief consultant in the Education and Training Sector of the Tourism Policy and Strategy Department of the State Tourism Agency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Nijat Huseynov, who abused his official powers and caused significant damage to the legally protected interests of the state, was detained by the State Security Service on March 4, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It is noted that several days before Nijat Huseynov&#8217;s arrest, a decree from the President of Azerbaijan severely reprimanded Fuad Nagiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, for violations in his work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Furthermore, Kanan Gasimov, Chief of Staff of the State Tourism Agency, and Muhammad Muradov, Head of the Tourism Policy and Strategy Department, were suspended from their positions.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The trial of Nijat Huseynov, an employee of the State Tourism Agency arrested last March, has concluded.
