According to Andrei Novikov, a head of the Antiterrorist Centre (ATC) of the CIS, more than five thousand men, associated with terrorist activity are wanted by this institution, RIA Novosti reports.

On his words, a bank of data of the ATC includes information about people who declared in international search for crimes of terrorist nature.

A. Novikov said that for the last time there was received information about location of 1.2 thousand persons, who involved in terrorist activity.

Khatai District Court exanimed a submission of investigative body on prolongation of arrest’s period of Bayram Mammadov, a member of “NIDA” civil movement, APA reports referring to lawyer E. Sadigov.

Court satified a petition, arrest period has been extended to 2 months.

Bayram Mammadov is accused under article 234 (Illegal production, purchase, storage, transportation, sale of narcotic items, psychotropic substances or its precursors) of Criminal Code. He was arrested on 11 May 2016.

Conflict happened in Ismayilly  due to jealousy, APA reports. An incident happened in Sulud village. A resident of the villiage Hajiyev Sh. At time of family conflict caused with dagger 12 injuries in face, neck, abdomen and chest of his wife. She was delivered to the central hospital of the district.

Presently her state is assessed as serious. Sh. Hajiyev was detained. Investigation is going on.

Police of Gakh District arrested a resident of Zagatala town, who was involved in illegal drug trafficking, APA reports.

According to information received in the Police Department of Gakh District, a resident of Zagatala town Arif Mammadov (born in 1974) was detained as suspected. In course of his search there was found and seized 0.356 g heroin.

Agency notes that A. Mammadov had previously been repeatedly convicted for illegal drug trafficking.

Gakh District Police Department is carrying out an investigation on this fact.  

A resident of Salyan town, who was released from a prison 15 days ago,  has been hacked to death by his neighbour, haqqin.az reports.

According to information, an incident happened in evening on 5 September 2016. Living with his sister 41 years old Elchin Babayev arranged a feast with his neighbour Seymur Seyranoglu, who suffered drug addict.

The sister of E. Bababyev being came back home from a market, saw him dead. S. Seyranoglu was detained by the police as suspected in murder. Under article 120.1 (intentional murder) of Criminal Code, a criminal case has been instituted by Prosecutor’s office.
