On 10 February 2017 the Baku Court for Appeals examined petition for appeal submitted before the verdict in respect of B. Mammadov, “Nida” Civic movement member, who has imprisoned.
According to APA, the petition for appeal was not satisfied by the court.
B. Mammadov is accused with Articles 234 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan (Illegal manufacturing, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances). With verdict of the Baku Court on Grave Crimes he was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.
