On 14 June 2017 the Garadag District Court examined the presentation of R. Mammadov, a chief of no. 13 correctional institution, to change a measure of restraint to M. Samedov, a chief of Islamic party of Azerbaijan, due to conducting the radical religious talks, APA reports.
The Court satisfied the presentation. According to court decision, M. Samedov will hold 3 years in closed type prison.
Earlier, in 2011, with verdict of the Baku Court on Grave Crimes he was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. He was charged with attempt of coup d’etat and illegal storage of arms.
