Ministry of Justice banned leaving debtors from Azerbaijan

Over 4,000 debtors banned leaving from Azerbaijan Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov said in his article published in “Azerbaijan” newspaper.

The minister said in comparison with previous year, over the first nine months of 2015, the number of executions of court decisions has increased by 53 percent to 350,000.

“As a result of taken measures, more than 160,000 decisions were executed, AZN 124 million were paid to individuals and legal entities, number of voluntary repayments increased,” he added.  

According to the minister, 3,250 people were brought to administrative responsibility for failure to fulfill decisions, 1,800 people were brought to administrative arrest, and criminal cases were launched on 242 people. More than 4,000 debtors were banned from leaving the country.
