Seized drugs

In course of operational activities conducted by Goygol District Police Department officers, 30-year-old Nadir Jafarov, a resident of Saatli region, was detained as a suspected person.

During the inspection of his car it was found and seized 1.1 kg dried marijuana hidded in the car’s trunk. At the preliminary testimonies Jafarov said that he had brought the drugs to sell.  During his home inspection in Saatli region, it has been found 4 kg of dried marijuana.

There initiated a criminal case under article 234 of the Criminal Code. The investigation is underway.

APA notes that N. Jafarov was previously convicted under article “illegal possession and use of drugs.”
