Arrested chief editor of website

F. Faramazoglu, a chief editor of Jam.az website, detained by the police, referring to his lawyer APA reports.

On 2 July, 2016 the Narimanov District Court issued a decision on his arrest.

Journalist is accused under article 182 (blackmail) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. He is in custody of the Main Department on Combat to Organized Crime. There is no any official information about it.
