An Open Letter to the President of Azerbaijan Mr. I. Aliyev

IOLR has received a copy of the appeal Makhmudova A.A. as follows:

“To President of Azerbaijan Republic

Mr. I. Aliyev

from Makhmudova Aygun Aydin

An open letter

I am writing this letter because my appeal to you not getting through, I get a formal reply from those to whom I complain.

In Azerbaijan, except you no any official will be able to solve the elementary problem and prevent lawlessness.

I am a victim of fraud on a large scale committed by Jabir Zaidov, Aida Bayramova and other persons who on the basis of forged power of attorney assigned the money that had been paid to me by the “Gilan” company for my sold land.

On November 10, 2011 Jabir Zaidov was called as an accused under article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code and he was declared an international wanted list.

Others persons were not called to criminal liability and a notary shot himself or was killed.

On May 19, 2012 Jabir Zaidov was arrested while trying to cross the border on a false passport.

Ministry of Internal Affairs investigator Nadir Alesgerov instead of arresting him the same day released J. Zaidov from custody and gave the opportunity to continue criminal activity.

Sabail court is not considered my complaint about this arbitrariness.

From that day I and the members of my family are exposed to violence, we are forced to give up the complaint, saying that with the investigation and prosecution bodies all is agreed and this case is involved big men and therefore we must be silent.

Dear Mr. President! You are a single head in our state and you are the guarantor of legality and justice.

So I ask you to intervene and stop the arbitrariness that they are doing behind your back some investigative and prosecutorial staff, and the spots lie on the whole Republic.

The contest “Eurovision” has shown to the world that the Azerbaijani leadership is able to do much for its citizens and no one in that we can disturb.

Please stop the arbitrariness.

Sincerely,

Aygun Makhmudova
