Prosecutor: to sell the property of the former chairman of Azerkhalcha OJSC to compensate for the damage

The court investigation on the criminal case of Vidadi Muradov, former chairman of the board of Azerkhalcha OJSC, has been completed, oxu.az reports.

State prosecutor Vugar Guliyev spoke at the trial chaired by Judge Afgan Hajiyev at the Baku Grave Crimes Court. He stated that the arrest imposed on apartment No. 5 in building No. 14, located on Inshaatchilar Avenue in the Yasamal district of Baku, should be lifted, the other property of the late Vidadi Muradov, which was seized and confiscated, should be directed to compensation for damage.

The public prosecutor asked to compensate the material damage caused by the accused to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy as a result of the criminal case in the amount of 640,922 manats, as well as to pay tax authorities income received from the sale of assets and property in the amount of 19,144,554 manats and shares in the amount of 11 442,490 manats.

The next meeting is scheduled for January 18, 2022.
