Large consignment of drugs seized

Employees of the Zagatala District Police Department carried out an operational event in connection with the illegal circulation of drugs in the region, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

So, in the course of the event, implemented on the basis of the operational information received, Alishir Afrailov, previously convicted for drug trafficking, was detained.

During a personal search, marijuana was found and confiscated from him. A search was also conducted at the place of residence of the detainee in the village of Fyndygly, where 2 kg of dried marijuana was found.

On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated in the Investigation Department of the Zagatala District Police Department, the necessary operational and investigative measures are ongoing to establish A. Afrailov’s criminal ties.
