Persons accused of grand theft sentenced

The trial in the criminal case of Ilakha Alipashayeva and her friend Bakhshali Aghayev, accused of theft, has ended, oxu.az reports. At the trial chaired by the judge of the Baku Grave Crimes Court Ali Mammadov, a sentence was announced, according to which I. Alipashayeva was sentenced to six years in prison, and B. Agayev to eight years.

According to the indictment, Ilakha Alipashayeva worked as a nanny in one of the houses in Baku. Knowing that this family is quite wealthy, the defendant entered into a criminal conspiracy with Bakhshali Agayev. The defendants stole gold and jewelry worth 91,000 manats from the house, as well as money.
