More than 30 kg of drugs were seized from circulation

During operations carried out by employees of the Yasamal District Police Department, residents of Baku Logman Mirzazade, Elbrus Huseynov, Alekber Adygezalov, Ilakha Huseynova and Rovshan Veliyev, who organized illegal drug trafficking, were detained, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Azerbaijan. It is noted that they were found to have 20 kg of marijuana and 3 kg of heroin and methamphetamine.

During a series of operations carried out by RUP officers over the past 15 days, 51 people suspected of illegal sales of prohibited substances were detained. In total, they were found to have 33 kg of various drugs, psychotropic substances, prohibited tablets, as well as electronic scales.

Law enforcement agencies continue activities to combat drug trafficking.
