The judgement was read out to the accused of murdering the brother of the head of the Lankaran Executive Power

The trial in the criminal case of the murder of Azer Garashov, the brother of the head of the Lankaran Executive Power, Taleh Garashov, has ended. According to oxu.az, in the Lankaran Court of Serious Crimes, chaired by Judge Jalil Nabiyev, a verdict was read out, according to which the accused Azay Garashov was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 10 years.

The incident was recorded on July 26 last year in the village of Pirekecha, Kurdamir region. In connection with the death of Azer Garashov (born 1975) from a gunshot wound, the prosecutor’s office of the Kurdamir region opened a criminal case under Article 125 (incitement to suicide) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic, and appropriate examinations were ordered.
Azai Garashov was charged under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
