Previously detained members of the criminal group were transferred to Azerbaijan

Employees of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan handed over to representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan five members of an organized criminal group who arrived in Bishkek to carry out a contract killing and were detained in the Kyrgyz capital. As reported by oxu.az with reference to Report and the press center of the State Committee for National Security.

“During the operational investigative measures, it was established that these persons are indeed related to criminal groups. Due to the fact that these persons pose a danger to citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, and also, in accordance with a previously established agreement with the law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan, at their request, on the territory of Manas International Airport (Bishkek), the latter were transferred to official representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic,” says in the message.

The press center reports that five Azerbaijani citizens arrived in Kyrgyzstan on March 20 with the aim of “spreading and strengthening their criminal influence,” including “criminal ideology, as well as committing a particularly serious crime – contract killing.”

According to the Kyrgyz side, all of them are members of a “transnational organized crime group” and are involved in “illegal actions related to the illegal activities of the organized crime group.”
