Violation of the right to circumcision in Germany

Regional Court of Cologne (Germany) found circumcising of boys equivalent to inflicting serious bodily harm and violation of children’s right to self-determination.

Jewish and Muslim organizations in Germany and other European countries were angered by the decision of a court and regarded it as a blow to freedom of religion and disrespect of religious traditions, writes Süddentsche Zeitung.

The decision about circumcision should make an adult on attainment of full age but not his parents or child himself, said on this occasion Judge Charles Koll.

“The Jews have no future in Germany in case of the decision about circumcision will be supported”, said, in turn, Pinchas Goldschmidt, Moscow Rabbi.

Well, it is a complicated question and not one.

How much it should be circumcised that it would not be a serious bodily harms and would be left something for future?  A child or adult should be circumcised and if an adult then is it necessary to consent to his spouse? Will be insurance and benefits given circumcised adult for the enforced absence?

It seems that all these issues will be resolved by law as it is accepted in legal states.
