Do the Azerbaijani judges need the Christmas cards?

Police of the Canadian town Abbotsford that located in the province of British Columbia, decided to send out Christmas cards to local criminals, reports The Canadian Press. The postcards depicted Santa Claus in body armor keeping in hands a machine gun , as well as an inscription that says: “What list are you going to be next year in?” It should be remind offenders that, according to Christmas legend, Santa Claus is bestowed only those whose names are inscribed on its list of good children.

In the postcard police expressed the hope that criminals come to their senses and for their families and themselves stand on the road to reform in the coming year 2013. Further, the letter indicated trust phone for those who still decided to stop behaving criminal lifestyle.

In the Abbotsford Police said that perhaps such a move may seem to some too naive, but this is not the case because sending postcards showing an interest in law enforcement rehabilitate offenders. “If do not give them a chance to make the right choice, how do they make it?” – said a police spokesman Ian MacDonald.
