Journalists need hard hats and body armor

Special identification vests marked “Press” do not save journalists from police violence – said January 14, 2013 at a press conference a head of the Institute for Reporters Freedom and Safety (IRFS) Emin Huseynov proceeding from the latest public action in Baku. In order to protect journalists during the public actions, Huseynov offered in addition to give them vests and helmets to protect the head of the police batons.

It would be good to provide journalists with the latest models of armored vehicles, manufactured by the Office of Y. Jamalov but standing idle doing nothing.
