Accused in swindling

In Baku Court for Grave crimes has been completed a process over the criminal case initiated in respect of a band group who accused of causing large damage to two banks, APA reports.

Under the court verdict, R. Mammadov has been sentenced to 13-year imprisonment (without the right to hold office for two years after serving a term), E. Sanayev to 5-year imprisonment, N. Guliyev to 3-year imprisonment and R. Bagirov to 7-year imprisonment.

The accused persons misappropriated more than AZN 1 million laying fake items under the guise of the gold in both banks.

They are accused under article 178 of the Criminal Code (swindle).
