Criminal case against illegal actions of Construction Company

Criminal case has been launched on the illegal actions of one more construction company in Azerbaijan.

The Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General has investigated an appeal filed by Baku resident on the illegal actions of the officials of “RUM” housing cooperative, the press-service of the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA.

 The investigation revealed reasonable suspicions that executive director of the housing cooperative I. Huseynov, abusing his power, sold the same apartment in multi-storey building in Khatai district several times and included false information in official documents on the sale of the apartment for $27,700 instead of AZN 63,000. Criminal case has been launched on the Criminal Code’s articles 308.2 (abuse of power) and 313 (forgery).
Investigation is underway.
