40 tons of flour sent by Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society to Khankandi waiting at Russian peacekeepers’ post

Vehicles loaded with 40 tons of flour, which were sent from Baku to Khankandi are waiting at the post of the Russian peacekeepers located on the Aghdam-Khankandi road, APA reports.

The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent has not been taking any steps to facilitate the delivery of the humanitarian cargo to Khankandi yet.

General secretary of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), Jeyhun Mirzayev said on August 29 that discussions are underway with Russian peacekeepers to create conditions for the delivery of the cargo to Khankandi.

The peacekeepers asked for time to respond to the appeal of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society.

Note that on August 29, the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) sent 40 tons of flour to residents of Armenian origin living in Garabagh.
