Police operation: 19 people detained

During operations carried out by employees of the Goranboy District Police Department in September-October of this year in the district, a total of 19 suspects were detained in illegal trafficking and sale of drugs, fraud, theft, robbery, illegal possession of firearms, intentional causing harm to health, hooliganism and other crimes, oxu.az reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, three of them were detained as a result of measures aimed at preventing drug trafficking. During the activities carried out during the specified period, three people were detained and transferred to the investigation for fraudulent misappropriation of funds from victims, five suspects for theft from houses and cars, one suspect for robbery, four suspects for illegal possession of firearms, three suspects for hooliganism and other criminal acts.

The investigation into all the revealed facts is ongoing in the investigative department of the Goranboy Regional Police Department.
