Azerbaijan handed over three persons arrested for fraud to Uzbekistan, Report informs citing the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan satisfied the requests of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan to extradite Egamnazarov Uktam Shorofovich, Dilbahor Mukhtarovna Dilmuradova and Otabek Ibraim oglu Shakarov, accused of committing fraudulent acts in Uzbekistan, who were put on the interstate and international wanted list, for prosecution.

While passing border control at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in August of this year, U.Sh. Egamnazarov and D.M. Dilmuradova were detained, and in September – O.I. Shakarov. A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen against them.

In accordance with the requirements of the Convention of October 7, 2002 “On Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases,” decisions were made to extradite these persons, who were transferred to the competent authorities of Uzbekistan on November 28, accompanied by a Special Convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice .
