In Garadag District Court has been the court hearing on the case in respect of Ali Insanov, former Minister of Health, haqqin.az reports.
The hearing has been chaired by Judge R. Mustafayev.
It is noted that the court has sentenced A. Insanov to 7 years of imprisonment.
According to accusation, A. Insanov purchased and kept psychotropic substances in correctional institution, where he is imprisoned.
There continued preparatory hearing in the Baku Court on Serious Crimes in respect of Fuad Ahmadli, a member of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), Trend news agency reported.
At the hearing, chaired by Judge F. Garibov, F. Ahmadli’s lawyer – Asabali Mustafayev filed petitions on termination of the criminal case against his client and changing the preventive measure in the form of detention.
The court did not grant the petition.
Consideration of the criminal case is scheduled for May 2, 2017.
F. Ahmedli was detained on August 18, 2016. It was noted in a joint report of the State Security Service and the Prosecutor General’s Office that during the period of operation of the operator in the Call Center of Azerfon LLC, Ahmadli transferred personal data of subscribers to third parties. It was also noted that during the search in the house of F. Ahmadli, religious literature and CD-ROMs, leaflets with speeches of Fethullah Gülen, prohibited by the legislation, were found.
F. Amedli is charged under articles 302.1 (violation of the legislation on operative-search activity) and 308.1 (abuse of official duties).
