Officers of State Customs Department has been prevented an attempt to sell a contraband of big amount of cigarettes in Azerbaijan, APA says referring to press-service of State Customs Committee.
The Main Department received operational information on selling of the contraband cigarettes in trading point locates in Bakihanov settlement of Baku and belongs to Azerbaijan citizen. In course of inspection a big amount of contraband cigarettes were found by officers of the Department. The cigarettes have had excise stamps of Russia, Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus.
This case is being investigated.
