On 1 July 2016 in Baku Court on Grave Crimes completed court process on criminal case of I. Bekirov, who convicted in attempt of murder of policemen, APA reports.

According to the court decision, I. Bekirov was imprisoned in 16.5 years. Convicted worked like a security at “Sadarak” trade centre in Lokbatan settlement. He was previously convicted. Accident had happened when the policemen of Garadag Department of Guarding of the MIA Shaig Agayev and Vugar Gambarov made him admonition due to the latter was smoking cigarette at wrong place. I. Bekirov did not like their admonition and he inflicted a knife injuries them. The policemen were delivered in hospital of the MIA.

I.Bekirov accused under Articles 29, 120.2.3 (intentional murder of a victim or his relatives at time of carrying out a service activity or fulfillment of public duty) of the Criminal Code.

In course of operations, which were carried out by the police in four districts in the south of Azerbaijan, has been destroyed about 15 tons of wild hemp, Trend reports referring to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The village Oranda Lerik region was identified and destroyed wild hemp weighing 7430 kilograms, in the village of Miskinli Gadabay region – 947 kilograms, in the villages of Nij and Bayramkoha Gabala region – 1 340 and 1 890 kg, respectively, in the village of Aslanbeyli Gazakh region – 3196 kg wild hemp.
