There was held a regular meeting of the Judicial Legal Council, APA reports.
Meeting chaired by F. Mammadov discussed the measures on coordination of judicial activity, improvement of effectiveness of fair trial, and also there were heard information of Election Committee in respect of election applicants to judges.
Council noted that the last years from 2600 applicants were selected more than 300 experienced lawyers, who were appointed as judges.
For serious offenses and tape red a judge of Sheki Court of Appeal I. Shukurov, chairman of Beylagan District Court M. Shirvanov and a judge of this court N. Aliyev were reprimanded.
Due to the facts of legislation violation 5 judges were applied disciplinary punishement.
