The Main Anti-Corruption Directorate under the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan conducted an operation in the Executive Power of the city of Ganja. The supervisory agency, in response to the latter’s request, said that additional information would be provided about the details of the special operation.
In the Mingachevir City Central Hospital, subordinate to the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TƏBİB), a fact of theft was detected. According to the Karabakh bureau of Report, the city prosecutor’s office launched an investigation against hospital officials.
As a result of the investigations, it turned out that the hospital’s management, having abused their official powers, embezzled more than 50 thousand manats of budget funds from January 2021 to October 2023.
Based on the fact, the Mingachevir City Prosecutor’s Office opened a criminal case under Articles 179.3.2 (embezzlement or embezzlement on a large scale) and 308.1 (abuse of official powers) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Employees of the Agsu district police department conducted operations against persons involved in drug trafficking in the district, oxu.az reports with reference to the Sheki regional press service group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Local residents Elshan Huseynov and Sabuhi Jafarov, previously convicted of a similar crime, were detained.
